Sample Recipes

To whet your appetite for Shane’s new book, here are two simple recipes to try at home:

Plate of Coconut Islands

Coconut Island Cakes

2 tsp Coconut oil – with or without it
Agave nectar or maple syrup
5 handful of desiccated (shredded) Coconut
1 handful of dried apricots

This is a very simple recipe for anyone to make. Place all the ingredients in your food processor and add maple syrup until all is mixed together. If you are able to make a ball from the mixture then it is ready, if it doesn’t stick together then add more maple syrup. Make little balls and place on a plate and put them in the fridge for 20mins. After 20mins take out of the fridge and eat as a sweet healthy snack.

Plate of Sunny Curry with Coconut Rice

Raw Sunny Curry with Herbal Rice

Cauliflower Rice Ingredients:
Cauliflower, lemon, parsley and chives

Put one cauliflower head into a blender with one squeezed lemon, one tsp of parsley and one tsp of chives.

Avocado, extra virgin olive oil, turmeric, mild curry powder

Put 3 avocados, 5 tbsp olive oil, and 2 tbsp of turmeric and 2 tbsp of mild curry powder into a food processor. If the mixture is too dry then add more extra virgin olive oil. Once mixed together add to cauliflower rice and enjoy.
